Cloud Suite

Minimum requirements

If you use Vertec in the Cloud Suite, you will receive an access link from Vertec. Enter it in your browser to be taken to your Vertec App Portal .

Next, you can choose between the Vertec Web App and the Vertec Cloud App. The Vertec Web App does not require any installation as it runs directly in your browser. The Vertec Cloud App, when run for the first time, installs certain components locally with an installer and is even better integrated into your Windows environment.

Setting up the Vertec Phone App

The Vertec Phone App is available for iPhone and Android. You can find the relevant links in your Vertec App Portal.

The first time you start the Vertec Phone App, the settings open. Here, you enter your access path once, i.e. the same link with which you get to your App Portal.

Vertec Outlook App

The Vertec Outlook App comes in two editions: the Windows edition, which runs the Outlook App in the local Windows client, and the Web edition, which installs the Outlook App in Microsoft 365. You can find the corresponding links in your Vertec App Portal.

Updates

The latest Vertec version is automatically uploaded on a regular basis. If you would like to be notified in advance, you can subscribe to our updates on our status page.

Minimum requirements

In order to install Vertec in your company, the following steps are necessary:

Server setup

Client setup

  • We recommend using one of the cloud clients (Vertec Cloud App or Vertec Web App) on the clients. In this case, no client setup is required, but the cloud clients can be opened directly from the App Portal.
  • If the Vertec Desktop App needs to be used on a client, the client setup must be performed on that client. In this case, the Vertec Cloud App is also installed locally.

In order for the Vertec Phone App to run, access for the Cloud clients must be set up, see section Server setup.

Updates

In addition to the main releases, about which all customers with maintenance contracts are proactively informed, Vertec regularly releases minor releases, which are published on the Knowledge Base under Release Notes.
