Vertec on Linux

The Vertec Firebird database can basically be installed under Linux. However, the Vertec Services XML and Notif are purely Windows services and require a Windows server. The Vertec Clients run exclusively under Windows. The Vertec Web App runs in a standard web browser regardless of the operating system.

On Vertec side, it does not matter whether Firebird runs on Windows or Linux, it looks exactly the same for the client.

Therefore, the settings in the Vertec.ini file are the same.
