With Vertec as a software for project calculation and budget planning, you can structure and calculate your projects divided into project phases or sub-projects. With the help of the project phases, you can store individual building blocks of a project and assign budgets. You can convert accepted offers (offers) directly into a project and start recording performance.

How the project calculation works

Save project budgets as a fee or flat rate

In Vertec, you enter the budget per project phase as a fee or as budgeted hours. If the project phase includes a lump sum, the budget in Vertec also represents the fixed amount.

Bottom-up calculation with Vertec

The basis for a successful project starts with planning and project costing. Regardless of whether you are working with a project template or creating a new project, you can calculate projects bottom-up. Enter the planned budget at the project phase and the total order value is automatically summed up at the project level.

Project calculation and budget planning in detail

For a detailed evaluation, you define at the activity level of a project phase how much time or fee you budget for it. In this turn, you can also designate and assign a user directly. If desired, the hourly rates of the selected employees are applied directly into the project costing. Another advantage of Vertec is that you can generate the offer for your customer directly from the costing.

Projects or sub-projects can be specified as lump sums and invoiced within a project according to hours.

Hourly rates can be updated in the rate table, on the employee in Vertec or in the respective project. They are automatically used when performance is recorded, based on the rate table per default. If other hourly rates are allocated on project level, these will be used instead.

If the calculation is changed during the quotation phase, the change can be tracked, for example, at one phase. The old and new values can be compared with each other. For this purpose, it makes sense to save a comment and the user when a change is made.
