Document automation made easy with Vertec

With Vertec, documents such as emails, invoices and other documents can be managed easily and automatically. Thanks to the MS Office integration, you can handle your entire document management for projects and addresses. Alternatively, an external document management system (DMS) can also be connected to Vertec. For example, documents from Vertec can be transferred to MS SharePoint or retrieved from there. This way you always have an overview.

How document automation works

Create, save, find documents – document automation is one of the most needed features.

Flexible file storage for your documents

Vertec offers two types of storage:

  • Internal: Documents are saved directly in the Vertec database
  • File system or DMS: Documents are saved on drives or connected DMS

Create offers, invoices or reports directly with Vertec. These documents are automatically saved and linked to the corresponding contact, company or project. Thanks to MS Office integration, this works the other way around and you can link documents created in Excel or Word to Vertec.

Activities make it easier to collaborate in teams

Intelligent collaboration options make it easier to collaborate within teams or projects. To do this, all documents are created as activities in Vertec. In turn, you can expand activities with comments, responsibilities or appointments.

Save emails as documents in Vertec

Use the Outlook app for optimal interaction between Outlook and Vertec. Manage incoming e-mails. Save these including attachments directly from Outlook as an activity in Vertec. E-mails can also be saved as an activity without having to enter a contact.

All generated documents are automatically saved to the defined location. External documents can be easily linked and saved in Vertec. You assign them directly to a project or a contact, and then Vertec copies the documents to the location. After that, you can open the documents in Vertec at any time.

Documents created in Vertec, such as invoices or offers, can be saved as a PDF, Word, Excel or csv file. If required, you can also set up other file formats.

The Vertec Outlook App provides a deep integration of Vertec with Outlook. It displays CRM information and provides support for, for example, managing emails and recording performance based on calendar entries.

If you use an email client other than Outlook, you can use the OfficeConnector to save emails in Vertec. This is an add-on which is sold separately by our German distribution partner appGenerics.
