How contact management works

Vertec offers different types of addresses, which are described in detail in the Knowledge Base article. The classic use case is the use of contacts and companies. Contacts are people who are affiliated with companies. This structure allows most of the address data of your contact management to be mapped. Special requirements such as couples or people without company affiliation are also possible.

Defining Advisors

Assign advisors to your contacts so that the responsibility for these contacts is defined in the system. The advisors will then see the assigned contacts in a personal folder called “managed addresses”.

Depositing communication channels

The contact shows the communication channels (phone, email, etc.) of the company and, if available, of the individual contact.

Categorizing with keywords

Address data such as contacts and companies can be categorized using keywords and thus conveniently displayed in folders. Example are keywords for leads or prospects. Likewise, contacts are often put on communication lists by receiving keywords for christmas card or newsletter.

If you maintain your customer history in Vertec, you can also view it in the software. Use filters to according to your preference and display information either as a whole list or as a cluster with parameters such as mails or phone calls in individual subfolders.

With the Outlook App, you can also view a contact’s activity history directly in the Vertec Outlook app without having to close Outlook.

You can document your appointments in Vertec. To do this, create activities and assign them to a project, a company or a contact. If necessary, you can create tasks with a due date and a responsible user.

Yes, with the Vertec Outlook App, you can assign mails directly to projects or contacts. These are linked in Vertec and automatically saved in the document storage.
