Better protection against infringements of the Working Time Act

With our free additional feature, you are now even more securely protected against unexpected and undetected violations of the Working Time Act and possible recording discrepancies. The Working Time Act regulates the working and rest time of employees, so both employers and employees must comply with it for the protection of both.  

In principle, therefore, the employer is obliged to accurately enter the working time of the employees, such as the daily and weekly working time, including compensatory times, overtime and breaks of more than half an hour. He should be able to provide detailed information about this at any time. This entering can also be delegated to the employees and therefore carries the risk of breaches of the Working Time Act not detected in time.

Especially if these often shorter tasks cannot be assigned directly to a chargeable project, entering this working time is often forgotten, because the employee thinks it is too time-consuming or does not know which project to assign the work to.
This promotes unhealthy revision and contradicts the legal settings as described above.  

So that work doesn’t do work – time attendance and performance recording work together

In Vertec, all services can be entered on external or internal projects using the proven performance recording, the core of Vertec software. The data entered by employees is used directly for invoicing, working time analyses, overtime and holiday checks, and project-specific target/actual comparisons. It also forms the basis for cost accounting and profitability analysis.

With the presence time recording, Vertec offers another option for the legally prescribed working time recording. The presence time list allows the entering of several From-To time periods per day, optionally one text per period can be entered. Thus, the entire working time can be documented without gaps.

This time recording has no impact on entered services. However, based on the total presence time and recorded services, a checklist can be used to quickly ensure that presence time and entered services match. Non-accountable services are posted to internal projects. Vertec
therefore offers a wide range of options to align time recording with the needs of employees, the company and legal requirements.
