Employee and customer data are saved quickly, copied quickly – and sometimes misused quickly. Company must therefore ensure that personal data is protected against misuse in their operations. Since 2009, IITR Datenschutz GmbH has been offering professional support to small and medium-sized companies. “We want to provide our customers with legally compliant and at the same time cost-effective data protection,” says IITR founder Dr. Sebastian Kraska.
German law requires companies to appoint a data protection officer. Often, this case is delegated to an external expert. At IITR, five experts now work as data protection officers for numerous national and international companies. In addition, IITR specialists conduct training and certification. In order to be able to efficiently manage the assignments of its own employees, Kraska relies on Vertec software.
He likes the program’s high user-friendliness: “The user guidance is understandable even for non-technicians.”
Another advantage of the software, Kraska sees in the precise entering of the services provided: “Thank to Vertec, we can also assign works to a project or customers that are not taken into account by other systems.” This enables IITR’s customers to have a transparent and accurate listing of the services provided. “The automatic display of used hourly quotas is particularly useful,” says Kraska.
With the help of Vertec, the entire billing process could be automated. With one click, invoices are created in Vertec and automatically sent by email with a personal Formofaddress to the respective customers. At the same time, the invoices are posted and transmitted to DATEV, including the receipt. This solution was developed by Vertec individually for IITR.
The Vertec software is flexible not only for users. Kraska also appreciates the flexibility of Vertec when it comes to implementing the program: “It is a great advantage if we can approach a software company directly to our specific requirements.”
