The boutique BLOMSTEIN Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, founded in April 2016, is a spin-off of the Berlin office of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. BLOMSTEIN specializes in regulatory and antitrust law consulting, including all international aspects. BLOMSTEIN advises in Germany, Europe and worldwide. In focusing on procurement, antitrust, state aid and foreign trade law as well as compliance, BLOMSTEIN combines the experience of a renowned law firm with the flexibility of a boutique.
In this modern and flexible environment, the software programs used internally must be able to keep pace and adapt quickly to new requirements and circumstances.
Classical Lawyer Software does not fit exactly to the requirements and usually prescribes the processes too rigid. Especially in the case of spin-offs, where processes still develop and change over a certain period of time, a law firm software must offer a high degree of flexibility.

The tedious search for cases or permanent storage are completely eliminated. As a result, the acceptance of entering these services directly in the system is very high. Anne Schammer, responsible for administration at BLOMSTEIN, sums up: “Use Vertec makes it possible to map the billing process very lean.”
All services are clearly visible on the cases and can be invoiced either manually or automatically. Here, too, automation and individual overviews offer great convenience. “Services do not have to be entered twice. This greatly reduces the error rate and increases the speed of invoicing,” says Schammer.
