The story of Arqum and Vertec began quite classic and, from a marketing point of view, almost ideal: searched on Google and found interesting software vendors. However, assuming that a vendor of Crm software for service providers Vertec has already come to the right place, but the business software for project-oriented service providers is far more than “just” a CRM, but an integrated solution of CRM and ERP.
The free 30-day trial was quickly solved, so people could try out the software right away. While the focus was still on Vertec’s CRM functionality, that changed after a demo with the sales team.

At Arqum, it was clear that business processes had to be digitized and made uniformly mappable. One of the challenges was that there were too many individual solutions for different topics.
The use of a lot of Access, Excel and Word was the order of the day. The processes were therefore not consistent. Multiple entries in the back office cost time and therefore money. This required relief.
Lack of transparency in the individual processes and a long search for data and information also took a lot of time.
This should change with Vertec. Central needs of the consulting firm are Service Entry and the billing of the recorded services. The service entry has been greatly simplified by the use of Vertec and is now also possible on a mobile basis.
Consultants are usually on the road a lot and can use the Phone App to entered their services directly from their mobile device and also upload expense documents. Since “everything” can now be completed in Vertec and thus has a central database, multiple entries are eliminated and the susceptibility to errors is reduced.
With the most added value, the combination of time recording and Resource Planning which is also mapped with Vertec. What are the standard hours of the employees? Who has vacation and when? Who is posted for which projects when and for how long?
In this way, statements can be made quickly and easily about the utilization of the company.
