The single view of an entry, in the example below the COMINSTALL project, is structured as follows:
Data that belongs directly to the entry is displayed as pages. Therefore, each entry has at least one standard page and one Further information page. Moreover, data additions such as project budget, related addresses, etc., are shown on individual pages.
Linked objects are displayed in the tree. In the case of projects, these are, for example, services and expenses, invoices, activities, users, etc.
You can control the user rights to view the detail window with the right Show detail view. For further information, see the article User rights for detail windows.
Navigation in page view
You can navigate the pages in the following ways:
Thumbnails: On the right, you can see a panel with thumbnails of the pages. To navigate to a specific page, right-click on the desired thumbnail.
Mouse wheel: You can use the mouse wheel to scroll up and down in the side view.
If you click and hold the left mouse button in a window, you can drag the page view around. You can recognize this mode by the mouse pointer, which changes as follows:
You cannot move the individual pages, just drag the page view around. The order of the pages can be influenced via customizing.
Tabulation: Navigation via tabulation is done in the order Pages > Fields from top to bottom. Within each page, the tabulation is used to navigate from field to field. After the last field of a page, the focus jumps to the first field of the next page. At the end of the last page, the focus jumps back to the first field of the first page.
Shift+Tab: Like tab, but backwards.
Icon and short description of entry
So that you know where you are at a glance, Vertec always displays the icon of the current entry and a short description (e.g. project code). In addition, the first page is always labeled with the class name of the current entry, Here, in the example, it is project.
