For address references, an SQL search dialog can be stored as a template. Address references are e.g. the customer on project, invoice addresses, addresses in additional fields, addresses in the system settings, etc. If a template is stored, the corresponding search dialog is shown at these locations. The search options defined in the template folder as well as the list settings are adopted.
You can create a template by creating an SQL folder, e.g. under public folders, and defining the search queries. It is important that the address entry is entered as class and that the Show search dialog is activated.
To define list settings, you have to open the template folder once and adjust the result list accordingly.
Under System settings > Addresses, there is a setting called Template folder for address search, where the SQL folder can be assigned. For selection, all SQL folders that have an address entry as a class appear there.
If such a folder is stored, the dialog with this folder appears wherever you can select an address via three dots.
The checkbox Browse also deactivated, as in the direct search in the SQL folder, does not appear for selection. Only active addresses are considered for the address reference search.
If no folder for the address search is specified in the system settings, built-in search options and list settings are used. If a template folder has no list settings, the default list for addresses is used.
