Notifications for activities

This application is an Additional Feature . The corresponding config set can be found here .

Application

A Notification with the title of the activity is created if:

• a competent person is registered (he receives the notification)
• the activity is not yet completed
• the activity has a title, and
• a date has been entered for the activity and the date has been reached.

If the person responsible for the activity is changed, the new person receives a notification and the notification on the old person is deleted.

Overnight, we calculate which activities are due according to the deadline from the system settings (see below) and create corresponding notifications. This is done automatically via Planned tasks . These must be running for the feature to work.

The following settings can be made in the system settings in the Section crm/activities :

• In the field Benachrichtigung bei Aktivitäten vor Termin (Anzahl Tage) can be entered how many days before the appointment a notification should be created. The default setting is 0 days, so no notification will appear before the appointment.
• The option Benachrichtigungen für Aktivitäten ohne Termin specifies whether or not to create a notification for activities without an appointment. The default setting is False, which means that no notification will be created for activities without an appointment.

Requirements and Download

• The Expert product line is a prerequisite for this feature.
• The Task Scheduler for running scheduled tasks must be activated.
