A high degree of trust between clients and ordering parties is a key factor for KINAST. For more than 15 years, the law firm has been highly specialized in the areas of data protection, data security and compliance.

The experts advise SMEs in Germany and Austria as well as national and international corporations personally and continuously. With a strong focus on IT and the associated technical understanding, they offer tailor-made and holistic solutions. The values of trust and personal advice consulting are also important to Vertec. The key point is that the software is tailored to the individual processes. So it was obvious that after the 30-day test, KINAST reached out to Vertec for personal contact.

At KINAST, the software implementation involves the board of directors. The new CRM and ERP software is supposed to combine the tasks of the previous CRM and the tool for project management.

Of course, the ability to act on a mandate had to be guaranteed. Different legal units should be able to act on a case. An important customization of Vertec for KINAST was carried out in the invoicing process. At the beginning of the month, flat-rate payments for a fixed number of quantities should be invoiced at customer level in advance. If more working hours occurred at the end of a month, these should be shown and charged additionally on an hourly basis.

Different user rights were also required for different partners to work on a case. For controlling, a forecast list and a plan-vs-actual comparison, were also implemented. Customization of Vertec at KINAST has not yet been completed and will be implemented in ongoing operations. Various quotation templates, simple entering of services and billing of travel expenses, and approval processes via Phone App are on the agenda.

Vertec is already reducing the workload of KINAST’s more than 40 attorneys, business lawyers and TÜV-certified data protection officers significantly.
