Electrical and electronic installations and systems are the lifelines of buildings and infrastructure. In road tunnels, schools, hospitals or IT centers, power supplies and electronics must not fail even in the event of a power loss, fire or other incidents.

For Boess Ingenieure, mature project controlling is just as important – especially since large-scale projects tend to run over several years. The offered in-house services, purchases and the working hours already spent must always be monitored. This happens on a monthly basis and, if necessary, forecasts need to be amended.

. The company’s controlling was put into operation in two stages. When Vertec was introduced in 2014, the project controlling, which until now had been created in Excel, was mapped in Vertec. A semi-automated Word report could be exported from it, which had to be edited manually.
With the update to Vertec 6.0, the initial situation to customize pages was created to digitize the controlling. This was implemented in 2016 and can be accessed online at any time.
Boess Ingenieure also place great importance on efficiency, reliability and future viability in their own companies. That is why, after taking stock of a project, the necessary phases (e.g. according to SIA) are saved in Vertec. After offer quotations have been created, all employees involved in the project meticulously enter their services on the correct phase. And external services can also be assigned to the projects. In the case of (partial) invoicing, a completed phase is charged. The amounts are automatically transferred to the accounting software.
