Reese Techware develops hardware and software on behalf of customers. Since 1995, the engineering office has been professionally supporting its customers as a strong partner in the development of electronic development controls. At the site in Itzehoe, 26 employees currently support customers like Danfoss, Lufthansa Technik, Linde and Hako. The internal development takes place according to the highest quality standards, as Reese Techware is certified according to ISO 9001:2015.

Vertec is primarily responsible for service entry for the performance of all Reese Techware employees. It provides the basis for detailed controlling of the individual projects. The main objective here was a quick and easy entering of the services in order to minimize the hours.
a special feature of the implementation of Vertec at Reese Techware was the interaction between Vertec and the metropolis ERP system. Address, projects and tasks are still created and maintained in metropolis by the back office employees. The data in Vertec is automatically retrieved via an extension.

From the connection of the metropolis system via the extension to the creation of individual scripts and reports such as extended office reports in Python: We are thrilled that so many areas in the software can be parameterized.”

For example, the “Update Projects” feature in Vertec has been developed, which allows the up to date project status to be compared with metropolis via the extension. Address import has also been implemented independently. Like the projects, it runs cyclically in the background in order to be compared from one source. This has created a good foundation on which Reese Techware wants to build further. Up to date, the CRM area in Vertec is mapped independently in order to have central access to all information.
Personnel management is already carried out through Vertec. Among other things, leave entitlements and overtime are managed centrally and digitally, just like absences for vacation days, sickness or public holidays.
