Consider it done: psX, headquartered in Hamburg, was founded in 2004 and has since stood for its three core competencies: management consulting, operational project management and IT solutions.
psX supports its customers from the strategic planning to the operational implementation of complex projects. Customers are made up of the IT, automotive, telecommunications, transport, renewable energy and transport sectors.
Effective project management and increased efficiency along the value chain
As a software manufacturer, psX had the necessary know-how to first implement a service entry tool that was very tailored to its own company. For reasons of manageability and better opportunities for further development, psX decided to rely on a standardized cloud solution in the future. One of the advantages of this is that internal resources can be used more for core business.
Vertec adapts to the company – not the other way around
What was important in the search for the new solution was that it already had a core range of functions that matched the psX. Vertec and its focus on consulting companies quickly found a common ground.
With the implementation of Vertec, the existing solution was completely replaced. Exist datasets were not migrated. Some desired parameterizations, such as setting up a birthday reminder, could be performed by the psX development team themselves in Python. There was no need for support from Vertec. In addition, psX makes use of the possibility to enhancement the range of functions in the form of additional features free of charge.

User-friendly
Thanks to the visual presentation of the user interface and the ease of use, it was quickly possible for the managing Managing Director to introduce employees to the new CRM and ERP software.

Communication on an equal footing
In addition to functionality, another criterion played an important Role in the selection of a future business software partner: Vertec quickly felt in the right hands, communication took place on an equal footing. With the necessary understanding of the customer’s needs, they came up with a targeted solution through dialogue. psX opted to run on a Cloud Suite and only selected the modules that are really needed in practice.
Mobile service entry with the Phone App
a consultant’s day-to-day work is characterized by agility. He or she is often on the move. It is therefore hardly surprising that psX also offers mobile service entry: Around 40 percent of the workforce uses the free Vertec app. Phone App for Android and iOS for service entry between customer appointments.
