The changeover to a new time and attendance system is a challenge for every company. However, Kiefer & Studer AG successfully mastered the implementation of Vertec – thanks to the high user-friendliness of the Vertec applications and the motivating support of the Vertec employees.
Kiefer & Studer AG has made a name for itself in geotechnical engineering, geology, contaminated sites and related areas in northwestern Switzerland over the past 38 years. The company prides itself on the expertise of its employees and attaches great importance to innovative and high-quality solutions.
The demands that Kiefer & Studer places on its own work also apply to the infrastructure and processes in its own company. “In order to work efficiently and in an orderly manner, we rely on the support of business management software in which we plan, enter and charge our services,” explains Dr. Vlad Giurgea, partner and member of the Management Team. The software Sokrate, which the company had been working with for a long time, was to be replaced. When looking for a successor solution, the engineering office decided on Vertec.
“Well handling of time tracking and invoicing were crucial,” says Giurgea. “But the presentation of the Vertec sales manager also played a decisive Role.” When a company presents itself so enthusiastically and competently, Giurgea thought it was a good basis for a collaboration.

This assessment proved to be correct when switching from the old project management system to Vertec. “Not all employees had an easy time separating from the old program,” says Giurgea. However, the high user-friendliness of the modern software and the clear, motivating implementation by Vertec project managers made the switch much easier.
