Balmer-Etienne AG is one of the leading consulting firms in Switzerland with more than 100 employees at three locations. It offers its customers a wide range of services in the business areas of “Finance,” “Tax” and “Legal”. “Our speciality is that we are a generalist,” says Roland Furger, Partner at Balmer-Etienne: “With our heterogeneous staff structure, we combine an extremely broad field of expertise. In this way, they can guarantee our customers comprehensive consulting that is invoiced to their situation.” This also creates close relationships with private and business customers: “We often accompany our customers for years and know them very well.”
Balmer-Etienne was also aware of the advantages of a single-source solution when the company reconsidered the use of its three different systems. It also wanted to digitize the countless paper forms when opening a mandate. “We quickly realised that Vertec could meet these needs,” says auditor Roland Furger.

“Thanks to Vertec, we can now complete mandate opening and mandate management, CRM and various other workflows up to invoicing in one system.” Vertec could be perfectly adapted to Balmer-Etienne’s needs: mandate opening could be mapped using checklists in Vertec, and mandate management was implemented with phases and the existing rate system. Through authorizations, the mandate user rights can be edited in case internal departments, so that invoicing can be made, for example, when invoicing.
