Recalculating hourly rates

A change in the saved rate (see article rate system) does not affect the services already entered.

To apply the new rate to services already entered, the Recalculate hourly rate function??? where can I see this? must be called up. You can do this in one of the following ways:

• On the service via menu Actions > Recalculate hourly rate.

• Open a list which has open services. This can be, for example, the list of open services for a project or for a user. If you want, you can specify a date interval. Select all the services you want to adjust and right-click in the first column. From the context menu, select Recalculate hourly rate.

• Create an Expression folder or a SQL folder with the desired criterion (e.g. All open services of Christoph Keller since 01.01.2024). Your Vertec advisor would be happy to help you create this folder.

• To recalculate all the system's open services, you can run the following script: Recalculate the rates of open services from date. This recalculates all services from a specific date.
