Plug-in: Activity Notification

Requirements

• The Expert product line is a prerequisite for this plug-in.
• The Task Scheduler must be enabled to execute scheduled tasks.

Application

There will be a Notification with the title of the activity if:

• a competent person is registered (he receives the notification)
• the activity has not yet been completed
• the activity has a title, and
• a Due date has been entered in the activity and the Due date has been reached.

If the person responsible for the activity is changed, the new person will receive a notification and the notification on the old person will be deleted.

During the night, we calculate which activities are due according to the deadline from the system settings (see below) and create corresponding notifications. This is done automatically via Planned tasks . These must be running for the feature to work.

In the system settings in the Section CRM/Activities the following settings can be made:

• In the field Benachrichtigung bei Aktivitäten vor Termin (Anzahl Tage) can be entered how many days before the Due date a notification should be created. The default setting is 0 days, so no notification will appear before the Due date.
• The option Benachrichtigungen für Aktivitäten ohne Termin specifies whether or not to create a notification for Activities without an Due date. The default setting is False, which means that no notification will be created for Activities without an Due date.
