What is the current status of my cases? How can I standardize annually recurring tasks per fiduciary mandate? This plug-in implements a standardized mandate management for Switzerland. It gives you an overview of the current status of your cases.

Requirements

  • The Expert product line is a prerequisite for this plug-in.
  • Additional classes 22, 23, 24 and 25 may not yet be in use.
  • It is a plug-in for Switzerland.

Application

With this plug-in, the Service Areas section is created on the case on the Further Info page, in which the service areas relevant for the case can be assigned via checkbox (multiple references are possible):

The service areas available for selection are defined in the folder Settings > Mandate > Mandate Management. By default, the areas FAR / VAT, salary, taxes and auditing are included. If you would like to start up other service areas, please contact your Vertec advisor.

This plug-in also creates the root folder Mandate Management with a subfolder for each service area:

Each service area contains a folder with the active cases and a Queryfolder with an annual overview:

Create mandate management

The mandate management is created for each case for one year. To do this, select the option on the individual case or the list of cases via actions Mandatsmanagement (can only be used by administrators or users with the User group Mandate management Users and select the year for which the mandate management is to be created. The subfolders Annual Overview are then created on the client according to the previously selected service areas:

In these subfolders, entries are created depending on the service area, in which corresponding fields can be filled in and options can be selected:

FAR / VAT

The fields case manager and key user are pre-filled. The logged-in user is entered as the key user. If an entry for the previous year already exists, the remaining fields are also pre-filled or applied.

Folding options can be made:

  • Tax method:
    • Keine
    • Effektiv : With the Effective tax method, the processing is done quarterly. Therefore, fields for the status processing per quarter appear below:
    • Saldo : For the tax method Balance, processing takes place semi-annually. Therefore, fields for status processing per semester appear below:
  • Type of tax: Vereinnahmt or Vereinbart
  • Accounting period: Monat , Quartal , Semester , Jahr

Under Status, various options can be marked as done via a checkbox.

Taxes

The fields case manager and key user are prefilled. The logged-in user is entered as the key user. The tax domicile can then be added.

Under Status you can select whether documents nicht , teilweise or vollständig are available and a deadline shall be entered.

Revision

The case manager and key user fields are pre-filled. The logged-in user is entered as the key user. If an entry for the previous year already exists, the fields in the Requirements section are also pre-filled or applied.

Under Revision Control, users can be assigned and a date can be set.

Use additional fields

In a service sector, the Add additional custom field items additional fields are used, such as in the following example for the Taxes area:

As a class, the corresponding Supplementary class specified. Which one is, you will find below at the technical information .

An additional page will then appear showing these fields:

Technical Information

Importing the plug-in creates the following objects:

Users must comply with the appropriate Assigned user groups become.

Note:

Users assigned to the user group Mandate Management users receive full rights on all required additional classes and can execute the Mandate Management script. However, they do not receive any rights on the cases themselves.

The user rights for cases are as before via the User groups In order to edit the values on the cases, a user group must also be assigned, with which access to the cases is guaranteed.
