Defining hourly rates

In Vertec, every user is assigned a user level and every project is assigned a rate level. If a user enters a service for a project, the defined hourly rate is automatically applied from the combination of user level and rate level. These hourly rates are stored in the rate table – a matrix of user levels and rate levels.

In the Settings folder, ten predefined levels exist under user levels. You can reduce, expand and rename these according to your needs.

Configuring per diems

In addition to predefined and customized rate levels, you can also work with per diems.

 

Filling in the rates table

From the Settings folder, go to the rates table and fill in the matrix according to your rates. A rates table can be created for each of the combinations: currency – service type – rate displayed. To enter services, as a basis, there must be at least one rates table for the combination “currency used – all service types – external rate”.
