Creating data

You have the following options to create data in Vertec:

Via the New entry menu button:

The upper part shows the entries that can be created in this context. For example, the invoice is only shown when you are on a project. This part corresponds to the context menu (see below).

The lower part shows the context-independent entries that can be created anywhere.

Right-click on the desired entry in the tree and select New in the context menu that appears.

You can also call up the context menu on an object in the list by clicking on the gray field in front of the relevant row:

Data can also be created using scripts. For comprehensive information about using scripts in Vertec, see the Scripts section.

Using a COM extension, data can also be created and fed into Vertec by external programs, e.g. MS Excel. For comprehensive information about COM,  see the Activex / COM section.
