Vertec 6.8 brings major innovations
We are delighted to present Vertec version 6.8. This major release offers you exciting new features and significant improvements:

New full-text search: Find data and documents quicker

We have replaced the existing search feature with a configurable, powerful, full-text search. This new feature provides you with numerous improvements:
- Indexing of any data: Texts on Vertec objects, such as projects and addresses, documents, emails and attachments, are indexed and found via search, as needed.
- Relevant search results: With word stem search and the similar words search, you can enjoy more accurate search results.
BI module: Get more insights into your data
New visualizations with pie charts
Try out the new visualization options in our BI module. In addition to the bar charts and line charts already available, you can now use pie charts. This enables simple data comparisons and quick insights.

The pie chart opens up new possibilities.
Enhanced user experience
We have extensively updated the BI module to enhance the user experience. The BI views have been greatly expanded so that users can precisely pre-configure evaluations. The administrator can define which view they want to appear for each class, folder or link role. We have simplified the selection of BI measures and their configuration so that they can be used more efficiently. Now, you can select the required currency directly from the BI view. Charts can be displayed from various different dimensions (e.g. per project instead of per measure.

The burndown chart visualizes, for example, the remaining budget on the phases.
Measures in lists and forecasts
Thanks to the expanded functionality, measures can now be used in lists, as well as charts. You can create list evaluations immediately and make them available to other users. As the data has already been pre-calculated by the BI, any evaluation list you configure in this way is loaded quickly.
The release also offers other useful BI features:
- Calculation of future values: Look into the future with the BI and make forecasts
- Simplified code for BI generators
- Summed measures: Once configured, these provide an additional performance boost.
Turnover forecast from phase budgets

Get a quick overview of turnover trends based on placed orders and weighted quotes.
Analysis of working hours spent on projects

Analysis of overtime, working hours and standard hours.
Improved Vertec Phone App
With Vertec 6.8 we have further improved the Phone App.
Time tracking
We have redesigned the overview of services. The screen now divides into two areas. On the left is a column chart that shows in color the presence time you have tracked, your absences for the day, and the services you have tracked. On the right you can see the list of your tracked services.

With the Vertec Phone App, you always have your data and documents to hand
Within the address entry, users can view and edit their activities. The entries are grouped by date and are separated by dividing lines, like in the Outlook App. Want to take another look at the quote on the way to the appointment? Well now you can, as it's possible to open, download and upload documents in the Phone App. *
*This applies only to customers with internal document storage. Customers with external document storage, such as the file system or an external DMS, can see the activity, but cannot access the documents via the Vertec Phone App.
AI-powered automatic receipt recognition in the Phone App

Users of the Vertec Phone App (iOS, Android) can now easily photograph and upload receipts. The connected AI service automatically recognizes all relevant data, such as company, amount, currency, description and the correct VAT rate. This information is saved directly in Vertec. Typical receipts are detected with high accuracy by the system, even handwritten expense receipts provide impressive results. *2

New colors for a better overview
Depending on which view you are in – default, Resource Planning or Business Intelligence – the interface now appears in a clearly assigned color. We have also added a clear label above the tree, so that you can quickly see where you are at any time.

Integrated spell checker
We have integrated a spell checker into Vertec to help you avoid mistakes and to increase efficiency. The spell checker is available in the Cloud App, Desktop App and Web App.

The spell checker flags spelling mistakes and suggests corrections directly in Vertec.
