Balmer-Etienne was also aware of the advantages of a single-source solution when the company reconsidered the use of its three different systems. It also wanted to digitize the countless paper forms occurring when opening a mandate. “We quickly realized that Vertec could meet these needs,” says auditor Roland Furger.

“Thanks to Vertec, we can now complete mandate opening and mandate management, CRM and various other workflows up to invoicing in just one system.” Vertec could be perfectly adapted to Balmer-Etienne’s needs: mandate opening could be mapped using checklists in Vertec, and mandate management was implemented with phases and the existing rate system. By specific authorizations, a mandate can be processed in different internal departments, so that invoices can be amended within the invoicing process.
